Web and mobile updates bring new APIs, Auto-Dispatch, UI enhancements, fulfillment flexibility, and mobile improvements.

Over the past few weeks leading up to January 15th, we've released a number of platform improvements on both the web and mobile.

Web

New:

  • API:

    • Ability to activate, deactivate, create and update Locations using the API.

    • Ability to activate, deactivate, create and update Operators using the API.

    • Ability to retrieve Job reports using API, including:

      • Digital signature

      • Fulfillment report

      • Incidents report

      • Incomplete report

    • Ability to retrieve Job messages and notes using API.

  • Auto-Dispatch - Zoning:

    • A new premium module is now available! Auto-dispatching allows you to define your business zones, configure them based on your business requirement and automatically run and create your routes.

    • For more information, please contact your account manager.

  • Default Operators by vehicle: Ability to pre-set up to 4 default operators for each vehicle. This can be set up from within the vehicle creation/editing form and will apply whenever the vehicle is selected for a new itinerary. By selecting the vehicle, the default operators will automatically be added to the itinerary selected.

  • Display time windows on the Itinerary Builder:

    • Displayed under the Pending Jobs list on each Job tile.

    • Displayed when you hover over a marker directly on the map.

  • Display branch Location ID on the Itinerary Builder:

    • Displayed when you hover over a marker directly on the map

  • Job-status indicators on the Itinerary Builder: New indicators now appear on each marker on the Itinerary Builder providing the user more clarity around the status of each stop.

    • In Progress: Orange arrow

    • Completed: Green checkmark

    • Partially Completed: Orange checkmark

    • Incomplete or Damaged: Red checkmark

  • Merge customer profiles: Ability to merge customer profiles together. This action can be completed directly from the Customer & Jobs page allowing users to merge duplicate accounts when needed.

  • Refresh Pending Jobs list: A new refresh button has been added to the Pending Jobs list of the Itinerary Builder allowing the users to refresh the list in order to reflect any changes.

  • Sorting the Pending Jobs list: We added a lot of sorting options on the Itinerary Builder's Pending Jobs list section by Name(default), Job type, Time Preference, Branch, Distribution, Time Windows - Start, Time Windows - End, and Quick Description.

Changes:

  • Fulfillment options: We've added more flexibility to your fulfillment options.

    • Access: Settings > Company > Fulfillment Options > Completion Reports

    • Options:

      • None: No additional requirements to complete a Job.

      • Fulfillment Report Mandatory: The operator must complete a fulfillment report in order to complete a Job.

      • Digital Signature Mandatory: The operator must receive a digital signature in order to complete a Job.

      • Digital Signature Mandatory and Fulfillment Report Mandatory: The operator must complete a fulfillment report and receive a digital signature in order to complete a Job.

      • Digital Signature Mandatory OR Fulfillment Report Mandatory: The operator must complete a fulfillment report OR receive a digital signature in order to complete a Job.

  • Searchable drop-downs in management forms: Ability to search within the managements forms:

    • Vehicles: Start from and Return to

    • Operators: Timezone

    • Staff: Timezone

  • Sidebar navigation menu: A new modern design is now available. Categories have been reviewed to better reflect the user needs and work flow.

Fixed:

  • The Dashboard statistic report for the supervisor account has been resolved.

  • The Itinerary list expand/collapse toggle on the Itinerary Builder has been resolved.

  • The Itinerary list "flickering" issue has been resolved.

  • The Pending Jobs filter issue on the Itinerary Builder has been resolved.


Mobile

The following additions and changes were made on both iOS and Android.

New:

  • Display branch location ID on the mobile application:

    • Activation: Settings > Company > Operator App Options > Display Location ID

  • Reset Stop Status: The ability for operators to reset the status of a job to a previous state.

    • Activation: Settings > Company > Operator App Options > Reset Stop Status

    • Details:

      • Maximum allowable reset per job: 2 times.

      • A back arrow will be visible on the operator app.

Changes:

  • Custom action description field: The ability to change the action description field from a text field to a drop-down list and to pre-define the drop-down list values as needed.

    • Access: Settings > Company > Job Creation Options > Custom Action Descriptions

  • Performance improvements.

  • Minor bug fixes across the application.
