Tips are showing up in my wallet as received but not as confirmed. How do I get these confirmed?

We work with Stripe, a large US based payment gateway processor, and the funds are not available to disperse until 1 to 2 weeks from the time of the tip. This is for fraud and chargeback prevention. If someone tips you right before the payout date, that tip amount may only be dispersed to you on the payout after that. On the "My Wallet" page, you'll see 3 important pieces of information:

  • Authorized amount: Authorized amount are tips that have been accumulated but not yet confirmed. These amounts are subject to change until final review (customer changes, cancellations, chargebacks, etc.).

  • Confirmed amount: Confirmed balance has been reviewed and approved, this amount will be paid out on the next payout date.

  • Next payout: The next date at which a payout will be issued to your account (if you complete all of the onboarding steps and enter all of your payout information).
